Official unveiling of the quotable mural "There is no value without research" created by Bologna-based artist Andrea Marco Corvino (1993) in art LOL 63 in the huge entrance vault of the Museum (34.8 sqm). The large work, completed in September 2023, will be officially presented at ART CITY 2024. 

With this project, the young artist wants to dialogue with the works of the 19th century in Bologna, creating a limbo between our contemporary and the Long Century. Thus, the masterpieces of the Museo Ottocento Bologna, emerge from history speaking to today through a new key. Corvino talks to D'Annunzio, to Augusto Majani, to Ottocento Bolognese champions Luigi Busi, Giovanni Paolo Bedini, Fabio Fabbi and many others, creating a short circuit with our vision. 

The title "There is no value without research" is meant to send an indispensable message: to emphasize the great importance of scientific research in the valorization of art; without research on sources, it is impossible to produce valuable projects. Main foundation that guides every project of Museo Ottocento Bologna and that Andrea Marco Corvino fully expressed.
