Andrea Corvino is the first artist in residence at Spaghetti Digitali. Between the months of November and December, he will create two site-specific murals that investigate the meaning of shared space. Cooperation, social interaction, welcome and multiculturalism are themes that Corvino emphasizes in the project "Everybody is Welcome," the title
of the exhibition.
Inspired by the energy of the space itself, a venue for collective work and creativity, Corvino's intervention opens the door to a place free of barriers and prejudices, where everyone is welcome. The stylistic and figurative character of his work persists in this concept as well, in which he alternates figures with mythological inspiration within ancestral environments, with a more direct geography, where border places are made explicit in their coexistence and contemporaneity. Here, borders effectively lose their political identity and claim cultural individuality in favor of collective knowledge.
