Monkey factory is a cozy space in via Cremona 3 (Bologna). Inside they organize a lot of events between live and private parties. In my opinion, it's an incredible generational exchange place: you can find old people dancing mazurkas and young people playing play or billiards all together.
In this work, the main challenge was to be able to play and interact harmoniously with the elements in the space, which were already present before the intervention. I decided to use only white so as not to weigh the place down any more than it was.
The elements that make up the mural are strategically placed in the room to recall the function of the specific area, in fact the room is divided by various zones; each zone has a different playful component: there is the chess zone, the playstation zone, the bar zone, etc. etc.
For this project, the challenge was in rebranding an established product to attract new audiences, while ensuring that current users feel connected. The results were outstanding.
